| Anna Paquin (n e Paquin) is a New Zealand-Canadian actress and actress. The actress had no intention of become an actress but fate determined otherwise. Following her success in her debut film she was offered numerous roles, which she did not accept in order to concentrate on the studies. Following a highly successful debut film when she was just 14, she was offered roles in Jane Eyre as well as the series Fly Away Homefilm. In 2000, she portrayed Rogue, the strong mutant Roguein the X-Men X-Men film series. The role she played was a huge success and she became a global star. Her role was reprised as Roguein sequels, including X2 and X-Men The Final Stand.She was also seen in small screen appearances notably as Elaine Goodalein in Bury My Heart at Wounded Kneefor which she received her first Emmynomination.
