Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo in Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also is a drama teacher on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the first moments in her existence, such as watching and participating in rehearsals of plays. Silk was featured in many commercials when she was an infant. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she met him in 2007 during an acting workshop in Los Angeles. The couple was wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton following the time that Silk was converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May of 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk was expecting while filming the final episode of the third season. She announced the pregnancy to fans during her Showcase Season Three pre-show special on 6 January 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on 20 June 2013, that the production was set to begin on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for Season 4 of the show. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top Television Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Because of the show's popularity, Silk has gained a large online following on social media.
